And how does "reshaping current mad behavior of H1B application" help fix green card backlog. Circulating debate around H-1b is the favorite trick of large IT companies. It is also the favorite trick of anti-green card reform groups like IEEE.
IT IS ABUSED. Actually, this gives rep another excuse to anti-h1b-cap increasing. For whatever reason, ICC should be curbed.

Man. I laughed bcos u really made me laugh and I thank you for that.. especially after the recent omnibus fiasco...u know what I am saying..:D
any way .. my thinking is that since you have already gone thru other earlier stages and they check things at that shatte also so ..at yr 485 stage..you shud be good..so relax and njoy donot worry and also even if you worry...nothing is going to change so relax and make your family also relax as your tension will pass on to them as well...
Just njoy and be happy as I have realised being happy wards off many unwanted things which we never know might have come our way due to being depresssed...

Sorry for asking too many questions. One more thing is when did you get this RFE? I am in similar situation---used AC-21 and applied for EAD back in first week of May 2008, but nothing yet from NSC. I was with my GC sponsoring employer for more than 6 months though and I-140 was approved back in 2005.

First someone from IV core has to confirm that this rule change does not need congress action. I am sure the core has explored this option before.
Until then, there is no point in having any discussion on this.

This amendment treats foreign workers like slaves.
When we need you, we take you in. But when there are layoffs, you are supposed to pack your bags and leave? Even if you are the best performer in your group?
Layoffs happen at respectable companies like Microsoft as well. And Microsoft indeed has hired some of the brightest brains from all over the world. Why should families of these people take all the heat of layoff?
I wish that next Microsoft, Apple, Google happens outside of U.S.

I dont get it, u r a EB3- india (ur profile says that) with SEp 05 PD and you got an RFE on 485? Cos, i know uscis did not even touch eb3 india with any PD of even 2002. something is not right?
Incorrect! This is just a myth. I-485 RFE can be issued and it can be denied when PD is not current.

Sorry if this is offtopic but can someone explain to me who banned me and why? I didn't write anything offensive or abusive, and I didn't insult anybody. I was just discussing the issues I read in another forum.

If you see the letter and spirit of clause in the said notification, an employment letter is not required and adjudicator has to send RFE if he feels required. File with latest paystubs. If RFE sent to you , then again file latest paystub to show that you was in employment with that employer from the date of filing 485 petition and for at least another 6-7 months further to that date.
