OK, now that we'll have iPod integration on flights from major airlines... And there's talk of broadband access in-flight at some point in the near future. Hmmm... I can see it now. Steve's plan is to have the iPod integration in place so that the next time I'm on a 14 hour flight, I have nothing to do but play with my iPod and shop the iTunes store. ...World domination, one small step at a time.

It might just be me but I tried the Nexus S for three whole days and I found it incredibly confusing to use than my iPhone.
What's more is, I got used to the iPhone on the first day of using it.

Used to hate the 30pin dock connector till I realized how much it combines.
I love the inclusion of USB3.0.
I just hope the old dock ports/cables will be backwards compatible, I've got so many dock cables.
Also hope Apple will also release something like this to comply with the EU standards...

So, earlier in the week I had an issue with my iPhone and it wasn't working. While my phone was out of commission, I was watching G4 TV and X-Play was on and they had a review of games on the iPhone. The game I saw was an RPG mixed with a Bejeweled game. You would be fighting a creature and in order to gain armor, health, and attacks you have to match items like Bejeweled. Swords, Hearts, Potions, things of that nature. I never wrote the name of the game down and I've clearly forgotten the name. Even googling G4 isnt helping at the moment so I figured I would come here and ask:
Does anyone know the name of this game from how I described it? Its driving me crazy ;)

To be fair, Justin Long's name was known before the Apple ads. As well as John Hodgman's. Justin for Dodgeball, and John for his stints on the Daily Show.
Those two actor's names are only known in America, I'm sure Japanese have never heard of them (and probably don't care much either), Australians wouldn't know who they are.

Friday is usually the miscellaneous sessions day, when the less important (or popular I might say) sessions are held. Of course you can leave whenever you want but Friday is still a full day. I would plan on staying the entire day if you can. Leaving Saturday morning is best as you can relax on Friday :)
Last year, in the original schedule, all sessions on Friday ended before lunch and lunch was the last item on the schedule. During the week, they added a couple of repeat sessions in the first slot after lunch. But, still, all sessions were over by 3PM.
I don't expect Apple to post the full schedule 'till a couple weeks before the conference. (I agree it would be nice if they posted it sooner.)

There's something online that says a month of Gold for $1, but I don't want to have to auto-renew after that not knowing the price.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think in order to get the $1 deal, you have to be renewing your membership, not starting it. I don't remember exactly, but a friend of mine tried doing this a while back, and it didn't work. I just stick with the subscription cards for both Live and for MS Points.
I have seen a 12-month card at Amazon for $35. They need an idiot's guide to this...

Halo 3 so far is a little confusing because I have never used an Xbox controller and it's been years since I played a game like this.
If you end up getting Xbox Live Gold, let me know if you want a co-op partner for some Halo. I'm always game for some Halo, and have played it a ton, so I can help you figure things out if you need. My gamertag is the same as my username here.

Yeah, tell me about it (looks down at my Quad). But honestly, I think it will suck even more for Adobe, as they are really limiting themselves in the market that they can reach. Come on Adobe, it wouldn't be THAT hard to code according to Apple's Universal standards, would it?
Then again, they may be trying to go for the optimal performance possible. Well, I fell for it and bought this baby. It feels pretty nice, it's not my first XO per se (I had one borrowed for 6 months before from a friend) but it's nice to finally have my own and I can start buying a bigger game library.
I'll make it a habit to install games now since it has a big enough hard drive, and it makes a lot less noise when no disc is spinning. It's totally not "whisper-quiet" like they claimed in E3 but it's noticeably quieter than the older one. The fan speed rises periodically the longer you have it turned on, after 2-3 hours of gaming it sounded much closer to the old one. Did you notice the new smaller power brick actually has a fan now? That's what's making most of the sound :/
So far I'm playing RDR and trying to finish some older titles like Oblivion and Fable 2. Got any suggestions? I'm looking at Mass Effect 2.

I believe he's referring to headsets that don't have the audio in and out jack combined into one (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2036282). The line-in port on Macs does not have any power to support a microphone. This is why the Griffin iMic exists.
Since the Mic port turned into Line-In, there hasn't been any power on the port, requiring a powered input or amp. However, on the Headset jacks that support the iPhone mic on them, do have a built-in mic, even on the MacBook, but only when using the 3rd sleeve that the iPhone mic cable has.

I hate the fact Pages always defaults to US English spelling. There seems to be no permanent way to switch to UK English! Arrrgh. No offence to Americans, but there are other people in the world.
