Maybe the EXIF data will be helpful though it's not completely accurate, even though I shoot in manual it will read shutter priority. ISO usually 1600 as Josh stated above.

Hi
I am going to appear for H1-B interview next month.
I was supposed to get my degree in 2000(Electronic Engineering) however due to backlogs and since I started job before degree completion I completed my degree in 2005.
Is that a real big problem?
Although I have double bachelors one in Electrical Engineering and other is science but my work evaluation is based on my bachelor of engineering degree.
Please help.

Your lawyer is very much on the point, H1B is valid only with the Job. Either H1B COS or H1B stamp outside US, you should have the Job offer in Hand, to be on H1B status.

I have an approved I-140 with a priority date of April 2008 (EB2). Unfortunately, my husband's employer did not go through with the GC filing process as promised and his H1B runs out next summer. I had heard that there were cases in which an individual could apply for additional extension based on the spouse's approved I140. Is there any truth to that?

No, it does not include the spouse's application. The fee schedule will give you a good idea of what the fees are for each category.

Hello, I am on H1B with an employer with dates from sep 2005 to sep 2008. I am amending my petition (with a new lca) as well as extending it for the same company. The amendment date will be from April 1st.

Now my question is shd my extension (with amendment) be from April 2008 to April 2011 or can it be for the remainder of 6 years that is April 2011 to Sep 2011. Please let me know. Thanks

upto april 2011. This is a bit like transferring your H1 after you complete 2.5 years with some employer: you get 3 more years, not 3.5. H1 extensions/filings/transfers are always <= 3 years.

what is the priority date?there is an employer who filled perm for me in october 2008 and the perm was approved.i-140 was not filled.

The employer laid me off due to bad economy. Can i still claim october 2008 as my priority date?

If no United States masters degree exists for this beneficiary, the LCA is not valid and may require a withdrawal of the current petition and filing of a new petition with a new LCA that adhers to Labor Department's requirement for H1B dependents".

My Employer wants to reply that this was a clerical mistake..... Is this right? or should he file a new petition.

Can I file another petition if this petition is rejected?

Does 1 require a UK Visa if they are travelling on British Airways? As i have my parents travelling from India to USA on British Airways(they have Multiple B1/B2 US Visa)..
Spoke to BA &they advised me to speak to UK Consulate.:(

It's really impossible to answer this without knowing the exact employment relationship that is planned and what the denial said in detail. Presumably your employer has a lawyer who can advise on whether an appeal might be successful. It is very likely that the denial was based on there not being the correct "employer-employee" relationship. CIS issued a new memo on this last month, and there are many threads in this forum on the topic. Rahul,

I assume you are planning on working in Canada using visitor visa. This is not legal and if you want to do it anyway, immigration authorities would question your intent of travel every monday to friday, when you have a valid H-1B work permit in USA. I don't think you will get by this.
My cousin had a similar experience he worked in Canada for two months on visitor visa, Immigration authorities were tough on him when he was on his way back to USA, asking him how come he had such a big vacation in a calendar year and also various other tough questions.
My advice is to apply for work permit in Canada through your existing companies branches in Canada and then work in Canada as you have suggested.

Please don't follow my advice blindly, contact your Attorney and look at all the legal ramifications and then decide about your future course of action.

It will great help if some body can help regarding this.

I had my H1B from A Company,Recently i have moved to B Company where i was asked to go to UK for Business purpose.I have yet to have stamping from B Company.I still have valid visa till end of next year from Company A name stamping in the passport.Will there be any issues for comming back from UK without having stamping.

Yes you would need a transit visa. In fact in Air India (not sure about other airlines) without transit visa you cannot even board the plane from US

This looks like a painting. I like it. My eyes move around this in a clockwise circle starting at the top right and going around. I like the play between light and dark areas...and generally just like the view.
