is that if you leave the employer before 1 year, it can be a problem. But if the employer lays you off, its not an issue. Get an opinion from an attorney to be sure.

also since its a govt organization, my LC juz said 4 years bachelors or equivalent. i do have a Masters from an US state university. so not sure what could be the RFE.. ability of pay is not an issue i guess, cos its govt. what other rfe's are there?

I look for a help in terms of clarification for birth cert,,
1. Born in 70 but my birth was registered in 2005 when I wanted a birth certificate, BC issued in aug 2005 and says registered in 2005. Is it ok I use them or I need an affidavit also from my parents?
2. There is one letter written wrongly in my name.. can i send or get a new one??
I would greatly appreciate your advise on this

Hi Gurus - Can someone enlighten why lawyers reco. not to inform USCIS about AC21 and wait for RFE?
Also does anyone knows how one can get back on h1b after invoking AC21? If AOS is denied how to get h1b again? (if not exhausted 6 year of h1b)

You need to ask yourself what you want to do with it?
Because, any paper currency is currency - it will lose its values over time.
Do you want to keep converting it back and forth depending on what the exchange rate is?
Things to look at: How easy would it be to convert it back to the USD? What taxes will you be liable to? What are the associated fees?
forex trading can be a lucrative business if you have the discipline and patience.
Another thing you might want to consider: Gold is at an all time high demand right now. I think that price will keep going up.
Do any of you have any information on Foreign currency CD. I am thinking of opening CD account with Foreign currency possibly with Indian rupee.
Rupee is 47.50 today and i think its the best time to buy rupees rather keeping ur money in dollar.
Please throw some input.

I see a lot of opposition for the bill from the news above and from others an optimism that bill might pass in Judiciary committe.
In Budget reconcilliation bill , it was thought , it was not a right place those amendments that would have relieved some of Retrogression be discussed.
I am wondering how will our issues (amendments that will relieve retrogression) be treated or happen what to them , when the passed bill will be discussed.
What do you guys think on Forum :)

How about the reverse change of status ? A person currently on H1 visa decides to resign from company & wishes to go on H4 (spouse has H1B extension applied for). What is the time frame in which the H4 has to be filed for .... with respect to resignation .... before resigning or after resigning .... is so within how many days of resigning. How does this person know if he/she is in status as H4 approval might take months .... Will the spouse's H1B extension receipt notice be enough as the approval might take a while.

It is too scary.. Plz note that the surname change is after mariz.. As per our convention, after mariz, wife's surname changes to that of husbands.. We have the mariz certificate with us.
Is this still that major problem, as earlier explained by you?

I got my EAD card for 2 years on 7/16.
It was paper filing on 6/22 at Texas Service center.
I hope everybody gets EAD card in time and continue working.

My I-140 was approved in June.
Even as of now- the processing date in NSC for EB2-NIW is Feb 07.
My EAD was approved in July, has the NSC processing officially reached my RD? of course NOT! It's still stuck on April 16th.
The dates are a joke.
