There is no contract to change the plans. I just spoke to Vonage customer service. She clearly explained me about the contract requirements. In fact there is no commitment for the new users also. The 1-year contract which shows on the website is for the Phone Adapter. They only charge for the phone adapter if you discontinue your service before 1 year. No strings for the existing customers.

I think the company should be filing the fees but lawyers fee for filing is not their liability.
I am paying for everything including filing fees. I thought that the company is no longer involved once you are through the I-140 stage.

Just my 2 cents... Don't think USA is like India where you can do something forcefully. Why don't you guys understand the real problem of USCIS.
Do you think that by sending flower to USCIS will force them to make EB2/EB3 current for 2005/2006/2007 guys??

We received the snail mail welcome notice today after receiving the email ADIT stuff last Tuesday (August 10). That makes it five business days. On the notice it says that we should receive our permanent resident card within three weeks. Anybody who actually received it within three weeks?

But this was early Aug. Now it may take few days more due to many approvals in the pipeline..When you receive another update (like post decision activity) saying that they mailed decision notice, that usually means they mailed the cards...

1. DOS has to move fast in May to test if there are hidden demand (ppl who missed 07/2007 filing, porting, dependent filing). Those new filing cannot get be approved before October 2011. So they can move up to Nov/Dec 2006 safely in May. Also DOS/CIS, who communicate with each other for sure, will know they should process those pre-adjudicated cased first to clear the inventory.
2. In June, July, August, they could be cautious but still move ahead up to March 2007.
3. September is critical, as that time, if DOS doesn't want to waste any quota, (100% CIS cannot approve any cased filed in that month), they have to move to a point to get all quota used. Based on 12K/half year, or 12K/year from EB1, say 20K be safe this year from EB1. 7K from EB2 ROW as last year, 8K from EB3, 0 from FB (EB2 get only 10k/4 last year as 10K FB is divided by Eb1/2/3/4), and normal 2.8K for EB2 I/C each (6K total), there are total 41K possibly for EB2 I/C.

Well, if it is going to be current soon enough, then any action to redirect EB1 numbers should not be a cause of concern for EB2s should it? If you are going to become current soon, then it means there aren't many people waiting in the queue.
2) We should support the visa recapture
You all are assuming that EB3 does not support it. Unlike me, most EB3s are very active in calling, contributing and supporting those events. I have personal reservations about asking for a change in law when I am the direct beneficiary (I feel like those big oil companies who use their clout to get laws favourable to them, nothing wrong, just that I dont like to do it). Having said that, I have no problems in asking and demanding that the law be applied as written.
Once I have my GC done with, I intend to write to the representatives that barring progressive experience in the same company rule should be removed, because it is the experience that matters, not where you get it. Why should someone who chooses to be loyal be discriminated against another who has no qualms about his company's future.

I recharged my account 10 days back at aitell 9.99 for 600 mins valid for 45 days. Today not allowing to make call due to insufficient balance. From the call history on their website, I only used 300+ minutes after recharge. I got doubt and looked all my recharges and usage from last 3 months. They are giving less minutes than advertisements on their website. I called to check with them today and customer service number is always busy. Any body using Airtel check your account history.
I had similar issue with them yesterday and also lost minutes, I tried to reach them for at least 90 minutes, finally I am able to get in touch with customer service rep and she confirmed me that they are running into some issues that they said that technical upgrade and confirmed me that after 2 hours I will get my minutes back (After that upgrade)...I have checked and it came back......
so speak with them, I am sure you will get yours back.....good luck

My Point is more long term - in the shorter term no major change can happen to economy even if Barack wins but eventually Economy would be stronger under Barack's leadership. He also stressed that he would stop "JOBS BEING SHIPPED OVERSEAS" which means companies like TATA or INFY or some Chinese company taking my Job ( or any American's Job ) away from US to INDIA or CHINA. Many of you have taken a strong position on one side or the other of this issue while ignoring the problems of aspiring legal immigrants. In the midst of all the hype and bickering about ILLEGAL immigration, there is a group of people, often forgotten and ignored, who are caught up in a bureaucratic mess and stuck in a limbo, patiently waiting on the path to LEGAL immigration. This is a group of high skilled workers, most of whom have advanced degrees in medicine, engineering and science from Universities in the US. These people have worked hard, paid taxes and waited their turn, many for a decade, without the end anywhere near sight because of a system that is hopelessly broken and inefficient. I am one of those people. I have been here legally for 10 years and still years away from the realizing the dream of immigrant status.
As the President of the United States how do you intend to address the problems faced by future Americans already living and working LEGALLY in the United States?"
For the skeptics-
I know the chances of including such a question are really slim, specially with the sponsors they have. However, if a lot of us ask similar questions, maybe they might bring it up.
Also, one might argue that even if they pose the question its not like all the backlogs are going to be eliminated. Thats not the expectation here. The idea behind this is to create an awareness and start people/media talking about problems of legal immigration.

The question is ....... why is our applications (2nd July) not processed, where as applications for August filers are processed and ahead of mine.

But seems to be just laid on table and waiting for action. Specially S.1033/H.R.2330 and S.1916-1919 has a provision to exempt the immidiate family members from Employment based visa numbers which is Good.
S1438 is also some what for a tiny releif as it asks for recapture of unused visas from past years
