Posting my case, in case someone in similar situation is interested.
Self : PD July 2002 -EB3
Spouse : PD Feb 2006 - EB3.
Suggested by our lawyers.
File my I-485 with spouse as dependent,
File my spouse's I-485 with me as dependent mentioning receipt notice of first I-485.
File for only one set of EAD and AP docs. Doesn't matter with which.
Filing both in July '07.
The pitfall to that is with the current rush it could be months before you get the receipt and by that time the spouse's date could have retrogressed.

No they had to pass it through the senate first, the house debated on it and the President Veto'd it and as history shows the USCIS took things into their own hands and decided to forward the flowers anyway (with immigrant notes) to the hospital.

There is no harm in fighting for your rights.
we all are law abiding individuals who pay taxes like any other citizens.
We are only trying to highlight our plight as they say
"Only a squeaky wheel gets a grease."
No can deport or arrest you by taking out a rally.
Wake up guys. Lets get together and be unified as only then can we be heard.
We all are well educated peaople and we don't need to be treated like slaves.

Everyone knows that increasing green card numbers will be best solution. In that also if we ask too much we may not get anything. Double the number of annual Gc plus exclude dependents will be enough for reducing retrogession but that may not eliminate. But waiting period of 2 to 3 years can be reasonable for most people. I am sure one more chance will come for increasing H1b numbers. That time we can try for GC increase also.
But I am supporting the flower Campaign for protesting the VB mess up though it will not solve the problem
Everyone knows what solves the problem , I was asking about to how to acheive them . What are your suggestions to acheive those goals. You seem to have a problem with everything everyone suggests or does. What are your concrete ideas to acheive our goals.
The problem is not about waiting , Problem is unpredictability about waiting , Can you tell me when will my sep 2004 PD will become current? I think I will meet your threshhold of 3 years sooner rather than later ...

Taxes are inevitable!
I personally haven't seen any issues with Call quality. Infact Call quality is excellent.
I agree about taxes. This is general understanding. However with my teleblend (formerly sunrocket) the taxes were only around $2 at the same address where I stay now. With vonage its $6.32 -- I have no idea why vonage taxes are almost 3 times to teleblend for almost equal price plans at the same address?

Hi guys
Just now (12.30 PM EST) I got a mail from USCIS saying your application has been approved. I didn't do anything (never opened SR or contacted Senator) but last week I did had an info pass appointment which was useless. MY PD was Feb 2005 EB2 INDIA (The fun part is My AP and EAD are still pending for over 4 months)
Wish you good luck guys

The salary in employer letter should match the one in labor or in I 140?
Mine is more in labor than I 140.
Here's what I requested my employer to write in the Letter:
Current salary is XXX.
Salary that will be offered on permant residence will be not less than YYY (mentioned in the labor)

Why they need name check when they have finger print? Name can be change any time where as finger print cant be.
Not only that. but the law and regulations does not require name check for I-485! Only for naturalization. What the USCIS and FBI doing is illegal. Sue them, that's the only way they will understand that they are wrong.
The decision to check reference files for FBI name check was made in December 2002 because N-400 was approved for a Hamaz member. The person's name did not have a hit in main files, but did have a hit in reference files. That's why the USCIS requested FBI to check reference files for naturalization applicants. FBI however decided to check refernce files for ALL requests. By law, background criminal investigation is required only for naturalization and asylum!
