Friend, with all due respect; what the members requested was to post some information about yourself. are you a immigrant? do you have any application pending / approved etc.
This helps us identify with you as a group.

Just as in any other trade, surely there are many abusers, however, this economy fueled itself to the top of the world in a lot of things using talents from around the world and that was mainly via the temporary work visas including H1b. Now you might meet 1 person in say 100000 who falls into the catagory you mentioned and none of us entertain such people with any respect.

So i dont think it wud be too different from what i experience here.
So i shld be ok. :)
I wonder the reasons for Switzerland to be #1. Its a small country with minimal immigration and not much resources. Key revenue might be from Tourism. They are not known for scientific work etc.

I got my checks cashed today and got ALL receipt numbers.
485 sent to NSC whereas AP and EAD stay in CSC. All have receipt numbers starting with WAC.
I saw from the previous post that EADs are being ordered within 6 days. is that true?

Thanks brb2 for picking up on my concern.I was afraid,not a single person would reply.This problem is going to be as bad as the BEC one if nothing gets done about it.Its so unfair and there are soooooooooo many people stuck at that stage with no hope of even knowing their status,until its actually approved or denied.Cant even imagine how frustrating that is going to be.Yet somehow not many seem worried about it.Even though i am not at that stage yet,its painful to see my friends go through it.They have resigned themselves to wait endlessly.If we can fight against the unfairness of the july flip flop,we can surely do something about this.I am sure core group has this in mind but it'll help if all members show the same anxiety!!Maybe we can bring this up along with the SKILL bill.Maybe the FBI needs more funds or manpower,watever it is,let them ask for it and get it,instead of stuffing us all into this bottomless pit!!

The idea here could be to give tough time for people who do not have valid visas. If they cannot get drivers license because they are on expired visa they cannot drive.
Illegals will anyway figure out a way to drive. They may even drive without a drivers license.
We are the ones who have to bear the brunt of all these illogical rules.
Can't we do anything about this ?
I read somewhere in IV that employers can't even ask for the type of work authorization when giving a job.
How come DMVs can ask our immigration status for drivers license ?
There may be scope for some action here.

I did. Same or similar job occupation, but different location. Started off with EAD, then got approval of H1B.. Lawyer didn't send AC21 letter. Already filed for next EAD/AP.
